Three Piano Preludes (2024)

“This set of piano preludes is a showcase of my stylistic development. Written over the course of the spring of 2024, each
of the three preludes are different from one another. Yet, together they present a slow transition from the gloom of the
start of the first to the chaos of the end of the third.”

– Program note, written 2025.
Premiered on 25 October, 2024 at Florida State University’s Dohnányi Recital Hall, Tallahassee, Florida by pianist Dylan Rhodes.
